Ted DonnellY

Ted Donnelly is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry. He currently holds the position of US Sales Manager for IBM’s Cloud Division and is responsible for the Retail and Distribution markets.  Ted leads a national team that delivers innovative storage and data protection solutions for on-premise, cloud and hybrid deployments that enable customers to increase top-line revenue, drive down costs and deliver superior customer experiences.
 
Prior to joining IBM, Ted held several key positions at Cleversafe, VMware, NetApp, and Advanced Micro Devices, including Director of Sales and Director of Software Alliances. 

In his leadership position at AMD, he was responsible for global strategy development and sales execution. Ted is widely known for securing early market acceptance of AMD’s Opteron microprocessor technology that led to the industry’s first Tier-1 x86-64 server offering.

Before joining AMD, Mr. Donnelly held several sales and business development positions at companies such as Marshall Industries, Alliance Electronics and Pioneer Electronics.

Ted has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Binghamton University and he, along with his wife and son, enjoys the beach, hiking, and biking along the shores of North Carolina.
